Summary

The City of New Haven is looking for a service provider that has experience working extensively with First Responders, specifically Police personnel. Will require letters of endorsement. The preferred service provider will be able to create a team that will create and provide holistic support for the Department for mental health and wellbeing. The service provider will help personnel develop plans with officers to work on stress, trauma, personal challenges such as fatigue, burnout, post-traumatic stress disorder, post- traumatic growth, substance use and integrated wellness. We would like an agency to demonstrate and create curriculum for wellness, peer support and mental health programming. Ability to integrate counseling, psychology, peer support and psychiatry in support of Police operations.
