The purpose of this document is to solicit qualifications from professional architect, planning, or engineering consultants to develop and finalize project scope, architectural, engineering, and related professional services for the development of construction bid documents for the City of Valdez Baler Repairs.

Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2025 at 4:00PM local time

Submit (1) electronic copy of your Statement of Qualifications via the City’s drop box application: Box.com

Access to the electronic drop box must be requested via email to Domonique Alex with a CC to Austin Rake no later than one business day prior to submission the deadline. Failure to request access in advance may disqualify a firm’s submission. Access can be requested well in advance of the deadline.

Questions must be submitted via email by July 17, 2025, at 4:00pm to Austin Rake, Project Manager , at Austin Rake

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.

Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.

Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.

The City of Valdez “ Standard Specifications and Standard Details ” shall be used.
