Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.201(e). This RFI is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.

The United States Secret Service (Secret Service), James J. Rowley Training Center (RTC) requires a stream and wetland mitigation site in the Middle Potomac-Anacostia-Occoquan Federal HUC 8-Digit Watershed to meet the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) requirements to replace lost resources due to improvements at JJRTC. A study has determined a need for 6.81 wetland mitigation units and 449 functional feet of stream mitigation to meet the MDE’s “no net loss” requirements under COMAR 26.23.04.03 and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements under the 2008 Federal Mitigation Rule.
