NOI No. 26-041
Notice is hereby given by the City of Coquitlam (“City”) of its intent to contract with Open Text
Corporation for the period ending June 30, 2027 for the following service:
1) OpenText eDOCS Content and Records Management Annual Maintenance with an
anticipated total value of $171,332.26 plus tax.
The City of Coquitlam has chosen not to call for vendor proposals for the following reasons:
a) The vendor has specific knowledge and demonstrated experience of this proprietary software;
b) Manufacturer’s warranty may be void if serviced by unapproved vendors;
c) The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect cost and
resources;
d) The City is not looking to replace the software system, but to renew existing support and
maintenance services.
Vendors able to provide the same product and services are to submit information and rationale in
writing, quoting the NOI number and name sent to email: bid@coquitlam.ca
