Submitted bids will be opened electronically at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026; and will be posted to the Vermont
Agency of Transportation website. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or
unforeseen conditions.

Award of Contract - It is the intent of the Vermont Agency of Transportation to award the contract pursuant to an
acceptable and responsible low bid. The award of a contract is contingent upon FAA grant funding. If the contract is to be
awarded, it shall be made no later than September 30, 2026, unless otherwise specified herein.
LOCATION: TOWN OF CLARENDON COUNTY OF RUTLAND RUTLAND SOUTHERN VERMONT REGIONAL
AIRPORT (RUT)
TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: INCLUDES PARTIAL DEPTH ASPHALT RECONSTRUCTION OF ASPHALT TERMINAL
APRON PAVEMENT INCLUDING DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, REPLACEMENT OF TIE-DOWNS, CONCRETE FUEL
PAD, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, AND REMOVAL OF TAXIWAY H PAVEMENT. (NON-PARTICIPATING) INCLUDES MILL
AND ASPHALT OVERLAY OF T-HANGAR APRON PAVEMENT AND PARTIAL DEPTH ASPHALT RECONSTRUCTION
OF MARKED APRON AREAS.
CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: This Contract shall be completed on or before October 15, 2027.
FAA GRANT APPROVAL: The Contract will be Awarded pending FAA Grant approval and the Contractor shall be
required to hold their Bid Prices until end of September 2026
BID BOND: Electronic bid bond to be submitted in the amount of 5% of the Contractor's bid.
ENGINEER's ESTIMATE: For this proposal the Engineer's Estimate is Category E.

QUESTIONS: During the advertisement period, all questions shall be addressed solely to the Office of Contract
Administration via email: AOT.ConstructionContractingInquiry@vermont.gov. All inquiries must be received by 4:30 PM
on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS: All bidders on this project must hold both current annual Prequalification
with the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the "Contractor's Experience Questionnaire and Financial Statement"
and unconditioned project-specific approval through the "Standard Form - Request for Proposal" CA-82 form. These

must be submitted/uploaded through the iCXWeb website at: https://vtrans.exevision.com/icx/Index.aspx
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: The work to be performed under this Contract shall be in accordance with the 2024
Standard Specifications for Construction, as modified. The Standard Specifications are available on the Vermont Agency
of Transportation website.
