The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order as a result of this solicitation in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The requirement is for annual maintenance and as-needed repairs of NAMRU-SA's in-house ThermoScientific iCAP Qa Quadrupole Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass spectromenter (ICP-MS Instrument System) and ThermoScientific TSQ9610 Mass Spectrometer including an Edwards nXDS10i Dry Scroll Pump along with a TRACE 1610 Gas Chromatography Oven coupled with a TRACE 1300 SSL Injector Module and TriPlus RSH SMART Autosampler (GC-MS Instrument System).The Government intends to solicit to one source, ThermoFisher Scientific - Thermo Electron North America LLC, under the authority of FAR 12.102(a).
Those interested may identify their interest and capability in response to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
All responsible sources may submit a quote to Kimberly Mrasek via e-mail at kimberly.m.mrasek.civ@us.navy.mil by 1700 EST on 31 July 2026. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government.
