BID #26-08 Sale of Surplus CNP Equipment
The Marion County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus CNP equipment. The items
may be inspected before bidding at the Central Office in Hamilton, AL 35570. CNP surplus equipment inspections
can be arranged through Child Nutrition Director, Jennifer Roberts, at (205) 921-1903.
All attached descriptions should be carefully read, and inspection of the items before bidding is recommended.
All descriptions and quantities are believed to be accurate at the time of posting. The Marion County Board of
Education will not be responsible for description errors or omissions. It is the bidder's responsibility to inspect all
items before bidding. Equipment will be sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" with no warranty expressed or implied.
The outside of the sealed bid must be clearly marked "BID Sale of Surplus CNP Equipment". The Marion County
Board of Education reserves the right to reject any bids or parts of bids. Payment will be due at the time of pick-
up. All successful bidders will be notified after the August MCBE Board meeting. The winning bidder will not be
allowed to sort, discard, or leave items behind. Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder. Bidders may bid on
one or more lots as desired.
The deadline for sealed bids will be 10:00 AM on August 11, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened in
the Board Room of the Marion County Board of Education located at 188 Winchester Drive, Hamilton, AL 35570.
Bids may be hand-delivered or mailed. Marion County Board of Education is not responsible for bids lost in the
mail. Bid winners will have until August 17, 2026 to pay for and pick up bid items. If you are interested in looking
