WRRF West Substation Transformer Repair

The City of Hayward is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor who is specially trained, experienced, and competent to perform the repair of the West Substation Transformer at the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Quote (RFQ).

The City of Hayward (City) owns and operates the Water Resources Recovery Facility (WRRF), located at 3700 Enterprise Avenue, Hayward, CA 94545. The West Substation transformer serves the entire recycled water system and other wastewater treatment processes. The transformer is in poor condition and requires repair to maintain reliable operations at the WRRF.

The existing transformer is a Square D Schneider Electric S/N 20261134-011-01, S.O PC20374-001. Additional details are included in section 3.1 of this RFQ.
