INVITATION FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for the PAVEMENT MARKING FY2026 project will be received by the City of Clayton, Public Works Department, until 2:00 pm local time, on Friday, May 29, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105.

An optional pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 pm local time, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Conference Room A, 1st Floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105.

The Scope of Work consists of installing and/or refreshing existing paint pavement markings throughout the City of Clayton, providing traffic control and other incidental items as indicated in the specifications. The work is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026, or as directed by the Director of Public Works.

It is expected that Bidders will review all plans, specifications, and the overall Scope of Work prior to submitting their Bids.

Bid packages will be available Monday, May 11, 2026 at the linke below. Bidders should submit an email request through the webpage, and a link will be provided by City staff to download the bid documents.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY BID AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY.
