Services for Persons with Disabilities

The purpose of the Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSQ) is to select the most highly qualified firm to provide the requested services. Submittals will be reviewed and evaluated as to qualifications to perform the services required by the Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB), who will make a recommendation for award by the County Council.

It is anticipated that selected firm will be awarded a Contract period of an initial three (3) year term with one (1) subsequent two (2) year renewal option. Approximately $219,202.00 will be available to fund programs under this RSQ in Volusia County’s Fiscal Year 2025/2026 contingent upon County Council approval. Annual funding will be contingent upon County Council approval of the Children and Families Advisory Board budget. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual and written agreement and, when applicable, approval of the County Council.

The Volusia County Council allocates funding annually to be used for programs and services for children and families within the county. The Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB) is responsible for reviewing applications and making funding recommendations which are ultimately brought to the Volusia County Council for approval.

The CFAB has established five (5) service categories in which to focus their efforts. These categories have been established as those who are underfunded and underserved through other resources. This solicitation is seeking an agency to provide services under the Services for Persons with Disabilities category. The scope of work provides additional information regarding the solicitation and what the awarded agency will be responsible for.
