Goose Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Substation Rehabilitation - Phase 2 Project

Project Description: The project includes the following general scope of work at West Chester Borough’s (Borough)
Goose Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (GCWWTP) in West Goshen Township:
A. Remove, dispose of off-site and replace three (3) pieces of existing major equipment at
the GCWWTP’s substation, by installing the same equipment supplied by the Borough:
1. One (1) 2,000 kva transformer
2. One (1) 35,000 v switchgear
3. One (1) walk-in low voltage switchgear
B. Furnish and install a new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) at GCWWTP’s Control
Building (B-1).
C. Furnish and install all conduits, cabling, splices, grounding, connections, anchors;
supports (structural and nonstructural, wherever needed); rigging; surface preparation
and touchup painting (wherever needed); appurtenant equipment and devices, testing
and restoration.
The bidder interested in submitting a proposal shall possess a minimum of 10-year of electrical
work experience and has successfully completed two (2) similar projects with greater than
$500,000 in value for each completed project.
