Project Description: Londonderry Township will receive bids from qualified contractors for the Municipal Building Renovation Project. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost through PennBid electronic Bidding service (www.PennBid.net). All bids must be submitted electronically before 4:00 PM, EST on November 21, 2025.
The project will be awarded under five (5) separate Prime Contracts:
General Construction, Site Contractor, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical.
Each Bid must be submitted accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Guarantee must be in the form of Cash, Bid Bond, Bank Check, Cashier’s Check or Treasurer’s Check, drawn to the order of Londonderry Township. The proceeds thereof will be retained by Londonderry Township as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails to execute this Contract as set forth in the attached Proposal, General Conditions, Special Provisions, Construction Drawings, and Specifications. A bidder’s personal check or non-certified corporate check is not an acceptable form of bid security. The surety firm must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A copy of the bid guarantee must be scanned and submitted electronically via the PennBid website. In addition, a paper copy must be mailed to:

Bid packages consisting of the Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Form, General Conditions, Construction Drawings, and Standard Specifications may be obtained on the PennBid website.
All workmen performing work on this project shall be paid the general minimum Prevailing Wage Rates supplied herein, as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in accordance with the Regulations for Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Township Building on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Questions about this Project and the bidding and contract requirements shall be submitted through the PennBid “Question” tab by November 12, 2025 at 4:00 PM.

Londonderry Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meet the requirements for which it was intended. In the best interests of the Township, the Board of Supervisors further reserve the right to insist or waive any technicalities required and to consider competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the Contract, and award it accordingly.
