SALE ADVERTISEMENT

Foley Tower 24/25 Timber Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a 10-acre clear cut of an eighteen-year-old unthinned slash pine plantation located on the Florida Forest Service's Foley Tower Site in Taylor County, Florida. Timber available for harvest includes all planted slash pine trees. The current basal area is 72 square feet per acre. The estimated volume of timber to be removed is 607 tons of slash pine pulpwood/mulchwood. Boundaries of the sale areas are forest type changes, roads and firelines. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
