Description
1. TITLE:
Clothes Laundering Services
2. BACKGROUND:
Transport Canada (TC) Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) is responsible for the provision of aviation services in support of TC operations as well as those of other federal departments and agencies. ASD is a TC regulated, pan-national, air operator that is similar to a small airline or air charter service that provides aviation operations and maintenance services to multiple federal government departments. ASD is the largest government service provider of civil aircraft services.
Our headquarters are located in the Aircraft Services' hangar at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. We also operate our TC aircraft from regional bases in Moncton, Montreal, Hamilton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. In addition, we operate and maintain the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) helicopters across the bases within the regions in which the Department of Fisheries and Oceans operates.
3. OBJECTIVE:
To obtain soiled clothing pick-up, washing, stain removal, tagging and return services for a variety of clothing, outerwear, personal protective equipment clothing. The services must include the provision by the Contractor of transportation for pick-up and return and all cleaning, stain removal products, tagging and supplies to perform the services.
The estimated contract period will be 13 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/02/17.
