ENGINEERING, SITE PLAN REVIEW, PLATTING SERVICES AND DRAFTING OF LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS

RFQ #2025-01
The scope of the professional services sought by the County involves the selected individual(s) or firm(s) providing the County with “professional services” as defined in Section 287.055(2)(a), Florida
Statutes, within the professional practice areas of general planning, professional engineering, landscape, architecture, and registered surveying and mapping pursuant to a “continuing contract” as defined in Section 287.055(2)(g), Florida Statutes. In particular, the scope of professional services may include: surveys, mapping, land use and planning, engineering services, review of applications for zoning, special exceptions, variances, future land use and all related planning applications and other general planning services as required. Surveying services providing boundary, topographic, mapping, platting, legal description and other related surveying services as required. Site plan review services providing detailed of proposed development plans to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design standards, and community objectives. Engineering services to provide site development plans, general engineering consultation and technical review services as needed, and providing other professional services in accordance with the future planning requirements of the County, on a case by case basis, as authorized by the County. The selected individual or firm should be able to demonstrate ten (10) years of experience in Florida in providing the
above services as well as the ability to prepare summary reports and present them at public meetings.

All responses must be sealed and received by the County at 500 Avenue J, Moore Haven,
Florida 33471, Attention County Manager, on or before 2:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 29,
2025.

Any response received after this time will not be accepted. Responses delayed for any reason shall
not be considered. Late responses will be returned to the respondent unopened. Faxed responses and
emailed responses will not be accepted.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BID: DO to oversite on original bid package, please include this information when calculating your bid for this project. Has no effect on the due date of Monday, December 29, 2025
at 2:00 pm EST. The deadline is extended to Monday, January 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm EST.
