Project Description: The Work consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the demolition of the existing apartment building at 109 Gravel Pike, the existing duplex building at 113 Gravel Pike, and the existing crushed stone parking area at 750 Lumber Street in Green Lane Borough, Montgomery County, PA. The buildings and all associated impervious surfaces will be removed and replaced with grass. Foundations will be removed to a minimum of 1.5-feet below proposed grade and basements filled. The Contractor is responsible for all erosion control, topsoil import and placement, demolition, grading, soil compaction, trash/material removal, utility and well abandonment and well abandonment certification, and local permitting, as described in the Drawings and Specifications.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026 in the Borough office at 214 Main Street, Green Lane, PA.
A Bid Bond is required in the amount of 10% of the maximum amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit within the time limit specified in the Contract Documents the Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount of 100% of the contract amount.
This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended.
Green Lane Borough reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to accept the Bid which is in the best
interest of the Borough.
