TRAILER DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL PROPOSALS
CITY OF DUBLIN
NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
The City of Dublin, a municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), hereby gives notice that it will
accept proposals for the following project:
Trailer Demolition and Removal Services
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that proposals shall be submitted electronically to jordan.foss@dublin.ca.gov
by no later than 5:00 P.M. on September 18, 2026, at which time the City will no longer be accepting
proposals.
PROJECT SCOPE:
The City of Dublin is seeking proposals for the demolition and removal of a double-wide trailer located on
City-owned property adjacent to a private residence. The trailer is approximately 30 years old and was
previously used as a testing facility for cat litter products. The trailer contains installed specialized
equipment that will need to be removed as well. The selected contractor will be responsible for either
demolishing the trailer in place or removing the trailer from its existing site for disposal. Due to the proximity
of an occupied neighboring residence, all work should be planned and conducted in a manner that
minimizes noise, dust, access impacts, and other disturbances to the adjacent property. Proposals must
include the strategy for demolition debris removal. The City has an exclusive franchise agreement with AVI
for debris box services; therefore, the use of AVI-provided bins for demolition debris must be incorporated
into all proposals. Alternatively, Contractors may haul debris directly from the stie using their own trucks.
SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Submissions shall include a written proposal that:
* Introduces the respondent.
* Provides information on their qualifications, including;
o Respondent's history in demolition; and
o Respondent's history in removal of materials, equipment and/or structures.
* Describes the proposed approach (on-site demolition or trailer removal) including:
o Estimated project schedule and duration;
o Assumptions regarding hazardous materials testing or abatement, if required;
o Approach to completing the work with minimizing impacts to the neighboring residence;
o Total cost, including labor, equipment, disposal and any applicable fees (including the AVI
debris boxes); and
o Proof of applicable licensing and insurance.
Submissions shall be submitted electronically, either via email or through an online drive system (Google
Drive, Dropbox, etc.), in PDF format and should be no more than 20 total pages (including cover).
SELECTION PROCESS/NEXT STEPS:
Upon the City's selection of a proposal, the respondent will work with the City on entering into a Contractor
Services Agreement.
Respondent will be responsible for ensuring the safe destruction and disposal of all materials and
equipment from the trailer. If there are hazardous materials present, it is the respondent's responsibility to
act in a safe manner and dispose of correctly.
PROJECT SCHEDULE:
The City is aiming at starting the project as soon as possible with the goal of completing the full demolition
and disposal project before January 1, 2027.
