REQUIREMENT
5P468-24-0208/A Stage 2 - Mount Norquay Road Improvements, Banff National Park
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) is seeking full-scale rehabilitation measures. The Norquay Road 2025 project will involve various construction activities along the designated roadway from the Trans-Canada interchange (cattle gate) to the Norquay Ski Hill Leasehold, including side slope embankment shaping, asphalt removal, drainage infrastructure upgrades, and welded wire basket Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall construction to enhance stability.
Work will also include the installation of base course materials, asphalt paving, erosion control measures, replacement of CSP culverts, and safety enhancements such as guardrails and impact attenuators.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000, Taxes extra.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/06/02.
