RFP #1162631 - Construction Equipment and Related Trailers Equipment Acquisition and Parts and Service

This solicitation will be issued through BidNet's Maryland Purchasing Group ( https://www.bidnetdirect.com/maryland/montgomerycounty ). In the spirit of continuous improvement, Montgomery County utilizes this platform to post solicitations and accept electronic responses from vendors. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, tools, parts (and materials), equipment and location required to provide new construction equipment and related trailers with related attachments, accessories, and supplies, as well as perform warranty-related inspections, maintenance, and repairs.  All services provided by the Contractor shall be consistent with industry best practices, and meet all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

The Contractor must provide the County with the necessary tools, software, parts, and accessories for every piece of equipment purchased.  Each equipment purchase must include 5 logins/books for each vehicle for access to information on acceptance.  The Contractor must have the ability for in person training and orientation for operators, and technicians for performing repairs on acceptance.

The Contractor must have the ability to perform secondary training for technicians on an as-needed basis. Tools, software, parts, and accessories provided to the County under any and all resulting Contracts shall be at a percent discount from with a manufacturer published price list or public url.  If one is not available, parts and accessories will be provided to the County at cost.  Any existing Contracts and Contract lines for Construction Equipment and Related Trailers Equipment Acquisition and Parts and Service covering the equipment acquisition, parts, and service on any Contract resulting from this solicitation will be terminated for convenience by the County on the Contract execution.  Any existing Contracts and Contract lines for Construction Equipment and Related Trailers Equipment Acquisition and Parts and Service not covering the equipment acquisition, parts and service on any Contract resulting from this solicitation will remain in full effect on execution of resulting Contracts from this solicitation.
