Jackson County Solid Waste Department - Wood & Debris Grinding

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for a wood and debris grinding service contract for the Jackson County Solid Waste Department until Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 9:30 AM. At that time, the sealed bids will be opened and read in the Finance Department Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building at 4965 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. One original and two copies of the bid must be submitted. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required to inspect the material to be handled, prior to submitting a bid. Prospective bidders must schedule a visit with either Lucy Miller or Taylor Watts, at the site, and prior to visiting are required to provide their contact information to Lucy by calling 706.612.5850 or Taylor at 762.425.4423. Bidders who do not visit will not be considered for the job award.
