The City of Milton is requesting sealed bids for the removal of the existing generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) at Milton Fire Station 43 and the installation of a new fixed industrial generator system. This project is funded through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Project Number 4738-0035, a funding opportunity from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. If required, the Contractor shall modify, extend, or reinforce the existing concrete pad or base to accommodate the new generator and ensure proper installation, stability, and operation. All work shall comply with applicable local, state, and national building and electrical codes, as well as all relevant generator manufacturer requirements, codes, and standards. Contractor shall ensure the system is properly installed, tested, and fully operational upon project completion.
All qualified bids will receive consideration without regard to age, handicap, religion, creed or belief, political affiliation, race, color, sex, or national origin.
The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
