Description
The Government of Alberta is currently seeking proposals for the Self-Employment (SE) Program, an initiative aimed at empowering individuals in the Edmonton region and Northern Alberta to establish their own businesses as a sustainable alternative to traditional employment. This program is designed to stimulate economic growth and enhance prosperity by supporting new businesses and fostering job creation in the intended service region.
Through the SE Program, participants will receive comprehensive support, including formal training, personalized business counselling, coaching, and guidance. The program also includes assistance with business plan development and offers the added flexibility of synchronous online training. By equipping Albertans with the tools and knowledge necessary to launch and manage successful businesses, the SE Program seeks to strengthen local economies and promote long-term self-sufficiency.
