The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), Central Purchasing Division, is seeking responses on behalf of the Department of Public Safety from potential Suppliers to provide a contract for the purchase of Portable Platform Robot(s) (PackBot 525). A Contract resulting from this Solicitation may be designated for use as a Statewide Contract.ยน
The Contract is awarded on behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety for portable platform robot to safely accomplish the growing needs to protect the citizens of Oklahoma. This will allow for deployment in unique environments beyond our current capabilities. OHP Bomb Squad currently responds in conjunction with the FBI on explosive calls and warrants. Packbot 525, which will allow for continuity and accessibility of equipment, tools, and attachments. This continuity further enhances Officer Safety and interoperability. The ability to afford continuous operations with our law enforcement partners will enhance life safety measures and expeditious resolutions during missions. This will be a sole brand.
