Fire Alarm System Replacement

Sealed proposals for completion of the Millbrook Magnet High School Fire Alarm System Replacement will be received on September 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., in the office of the Wake County Public School System, Facilities Design and Construction Department, Crossroads III, Reception Desk, 111 Corning Road, Suite 190, Cary, NC 27518. All bids will be opened and read aloud starting at 11:00 a.m. All times are local prevailing times.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held August 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at Millbrook Magnet High School, 2201 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.

Complete plans and specifications may be obtained from Cheatham and Associates, P.A., 3412 Enterprise Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405, (910) 452-4210 during normal office hours beginning 8:00 AM, August 24, 2026. Electronic copies of the documents can be obtained at no charge via Cheatham and Associates Dropbox by emailing request to: admin@cheathampa.com. If hard copies are requested, a refundable plan deposit is required: $50.00 - made payable to Wake County Public School System.

The Wake County Public School System reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the School System. The Wake County Public School System also reserves the right to require any bidder to submit information needed to determine if said bidder is responsible within the meaning of N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-129.
