Purchase of a New Service Truck with Crane
The Owasso Public Works Department is seeking to purchase a new service truck with crane.
Quotes are being accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Quotes received in person or by mail must be clearly marked Service Truckon the outside of the
envelope and delivered to the Owasso Public Works Department, 301 W 2nd Ave, Owasso, Oklahoma
74055, Attn: Krystal Amberg. Quotes can also be emailed to kamberg@cityofowasso.com.
Vendors shall provide detailed written technical information and any other items requested in the
specifications, along with their quote.
Purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, and to determine the quote deemed in the best
interest of the City from among those timely and properly submitted, in accordance with specifications.
Lowest quote, while a major consideration, will not govern the purchase. Purchase will be made from all
considerations such as quality, conformance with these specifications, service facilities, suitability for
particular use, as well as initial cost to purchase, plus quality and completeness of vendor's quote.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR BID AND DELIVERY
These specifications are intended to provide a common standard to which all vendors shall quote.
Any deviations to these specifications must be stated in writing and attached to the vendors submittal with
explanation and detailed description of the item or items the vendor wishes to substitute. No substitutions
will be permitted unless vendor complies with the above procedure so that a fair comparison may be made.
All substitutions shall be "equal to" or "greater than" the items specified and include full detailed information
to enable purchaser to determine suitability. Unless the exceptions granted are acknowledged by
purchaser in writing at the time of order, such exemptions shall not be accepted at the time of delivery, and
the delivered product shall be expected to conform to every detail of these specifications, or suffer
rejection.
Vendor will evaluate the equipment list contained in the packet and identify, list, and quote any additional
items necessary to make the equipment fully operational. Failure to list and quote the additional items is
the responsibility of the vendor and if needed, said items will be supplied and installed by the vendor at no
cost to the City of Owasso.
Delivery :
Delivery and inspection of the equipment will occur at the Owasso Public Works facility located at 301
West 2nd Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.
Chassis and Engine :
The equipment below is preferred, but comparable equipment will be accepted as long as documentation is
provided outlining the comparison:
1. New 4x4 super cab, 84CA/192WB or equivalent.
2. Chassis engine must be diesel.
3. Transmission shall be Automatic w/PTO.
4. Backup camera.
5. 19500# GVW.
6. Tow Hooks front and rear.
7. All factory warranties
8. To be white in color
Service Crane Truck:
The equipment below is preferred, but comparable equipment will be accepted as long as documentation is
provided outlining the comparison:
1. Metal or Aluminum Mechanic body white to match chassis.
2. Oxygen / Acetylene compartment.
3. Welded on receiver hitch
4. Compartment lights. (LED)
5. 40CFM @ 100PSI rotary air compressor.
6. ½” air hose real in compartment, with filter, lubricator and regulator installed.
7. Work bench bumper with vise mounting plate.
8. Work lights. (LED)
9. Locking system with 3 sets of keys.
10. Tool drawers, dividers, shelving and drawers sets.
11. Backup alarm.
12. Spray in bed liner for bed and work bench bumper,
13. Rock guard kit for bed.
14. Telescopic crane- minimum of 53,000 ft/lb. rated, 8,500 lb. 30full hydraulic reach with remote.
15. Hydraulic down riggers.
