Solicitation Summary
Charles County Public Schools is soliciting applications from firms interested in providing a range of professional Construction Management at Risk (CMR) services during the pre-construction and construction phases for the modernization/addition of La Plata High School in La Plata, MD. The high school construction costs are estimated to be in the range of $120-$140 million. Services to be provided will include evaluations of project scope, constructability analysis, project budget, solicitation of trade contracts, management of trade construction production schedules, and establishment of a guaranteed maximum price.
Prospective firms should submit the completed Request for Qualifications package as seven (7) bound copies, and one digital copy on USB (pdf format) of their statement of qualification to the office of Planning and Construction (address below) by 4:00 pm, October 29, 2025.

A formal letter of interest on the firm’s letterhead should be emailed to Susan Pond at spond@ccboe.com by 4:00 pm on October 10, 2025 . Once received, a Request for Qualifications will be sent to the prospective firm.
