URL to solicitation documents: https://fairfieldct.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/207030 The Town of Fairfield (Town) on behalf of its Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide professional services for the renewal of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP). The current permit expires on September 30, 2026, and the renewal application must be submitted to CT DEEP on or before April 3, 2026. In addition to the core NPDES renewal scope, the Town seeks to optionally engage the selected firm for on-call permitting support related to the regulation of WPCA’s sludge management processes, including solid waste and air permitting activities authorized by CT DEEP.
