This Sources Sought Notice is to research the number of large and small business capable and interested in the prospective procurement.
The U.S. Government is seeking qualified sources to provide contract field service representatives for the AH-64 Apache sensor systems
The Contractor shall provide support for the sensor, systems, and sensor hardware for the AH-64 D/E Apache MTADS/PNVS and FCR at various US Army installations located both within the contiguous and Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous / Continental United States (OCONUS), theaters of operations, surge requirements and individual unit requirements. The support shall consist of training of Army / DoD military and civilian personnel, technical assistance, and guidance in troubleshooting and repair of Army AH-64 aircraft.
This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost No Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 60 month period of performance.
This is a sources sought notice. No contract award will result from this Sources Sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government in making an appropriate acquisition decision.
The Government does NOT own the technical data package (TDP) for this action. The Apache sensors TDP is held by Lockheed Martin Corporation. Interested offerors responding to this notice must be able to demonstrate that they have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs.
This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contact.
