RFB #274-26: Request for Bids for FY26 Seal Coat Program - Hunt County, Texas

The following information is being provided to clarify the proposal requirements and address questions received
as of this date:
Questions:
1. There are no quantities or bid items included in the bid schedule. On page PBS-8 under Total
Amount of Bid, are we to provide a single SY price?
Answer: Yes. Hunt County is requesting unit pricing only, specifically a price per square yard (SY)
for seal coat application.
This solicitation is a one (1) year unit price contract for seal coat work to be performed on an as-
needed basis. As stated in the bid documents, specific road locations and quantities are not known at
the time of bidding and will be assigned by Hunt County through written work orders during the
contract term.
The reference to "Total Amount of Bid" on page PBS-8 does not represent a total project cost.
Bidders may enter their unit price per SY in this field; however, award will be based on the unit
price submitted, not a lump sum total.
This bid differs from project-based bids (such as Smith County) that include estimated quantities and
multiple bid items.
