The following information is being provided to clarify the proposal requirements and address questions received
as of this date:
Questions:
1. Is a bid bond required for this solicitation?
Answer: No. The requirement for a bid bond is hereby removed for RFB #274-26, FY26 Seal Coat
Program. Bidders are not required to submit a bid bond with their bid, and bids will not be
considered non-responsive for failure to include a bid bond.
This solicitation is a one (1) year unit price contract with no guaranteed quantities; therefore, a bid
bond is not applicable to this procurement.
Performance and payment bonds may be required for individual work orders in accordance with
applicable law and as determined by Hunt County.
All vendors are required to sign and return a copy of this addendum with each Bid for FY26 Seal Coat Program
