Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license or Class C-10 at the time of submitting bids. The minimum acceptable experience shall include direct responsibility for performing the necessary work. Failure to meet the minimum qualification will render a bidder non-responsive.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
