REQUEST FOR BID
The City of Warrensburg Fire Department is requesting bids for the removal of existing floor covering, new flooring material, and reinstallation of flooring to include all specified materials and labor. The bidder shall provide cost per unit and the City reserves the right to reduce the quantity of the requested item(s) to remain within the project budget. The bidder shall include all installation costs to include installation materials, removal and replacement of existing fixtures, and removal and disposal of the existing carpet.
Items to bid:
Offices (5) and Hallway (footage is total for all)
Carpet – 1080 sq ft- Pentz Techtonic 7042T Framework Carpet
Cove Base – Remove and Install - 175.11LF – Color to be identified after award.
Take Up – Removal and disposal of existing carpet.
Install Material – Any required installation materials such as glue.
Kitchen, Living Room, Bath(2) (footage is total for all)
Luxury Vinyl – 672.84 sq ft – Mathwes & Parlo LXP100 – Color to be identified after award (install over existing VCT)
*Equal or greater quality in different brands may be submitted for consideration.
Cove Base – Remove and Install - 224.89 LF Color to be identified after award.
Remove and Reinstall Toilet – 2 (Include any required reinstall items)
Installation areas can be viewed by appointment if the bidder wishes to secure their own measurements, Monday through Friday 8A-4P at the address provided below.
The City reserves the right to select the lowest and best responsible bidder based on consideration of all factors. The City can reject bids which are not responsible or which are in violation of any bid requirement or are otherwise irregular. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The selected bidder must have all work completed by September 12, 2025. Bidder must meet all city requirements to perform work in Warrensburg and must be current on all city taxes if applicable.
