WWTP Decommissioning & Demolition Design/Engineering Services During Construction

The City of Morro Bay (City) is requesting technical and cost proposals from qualified firms, consultants, or individuals for design services for the Decommissioning and Demolition of the jointly-owned Morro Bay-Cayucos Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and associated Engineering Services During Construction (ESDC) as part of the Water Reclamation Facility Program (WRF Program).

All proposals must be received before 4:00 pm PDT on Thursday, February 27th, 2025 at the address below.

Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered. Each proposal must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the proposal title and bidder name. Also, the not-to-exceed project budget and fee proposal must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope labeled “Cost Proposal” as a companion  document to the proposal, and as a separate electronic document via email.

Any changes, additions, or deletions to this Request for Proposal will be in the form of addenda issued by the City. Addenda will be posted on the City’s website ( https://www.morrobayca.gov/bids.aspx ) where the RFP is posted. Prospective proposers must check the website for addenda or other relevant new information during the response period. The City is not responsible for the failure of any prospective proposer to receive such addenda. All addenda so issued shall become a part of this Request for Proposal.
