RFP 2025-0500-0235 Virtual Education Consortium Facilitation

The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), Division of Innovation and Education Excellence, is seeking a vendor to provide facilitation and coordination support for the development and implementation of a Virtual Learning Consortium to meet the requirements of the Reads Act and the current needs of districts in delivering virtual content.

In May of 2022, the Alaska legislature passed the Alaska Reads Act – a statute aimed at improving educational outcomes for Alaska youth by targeting reading delays statewide. One component of the statute directs DEED to develop a virtual learning consortium designed to support districts in sharing access to virtual education resources, courses, and support.
