NOI Title: ECG Electrode for Micro Preemie
Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”) on its own behalf and as an agent for, Fraser Health authority (“FHA”), Interior Health Authority (“IHA”), Northern Health Authority (“NHA”), Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (“VCHA”), and Vancouver Island Health Authority (“VIHA”) intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide ECG Electrode for Micro Preemie for a term of three (3) years with two (2) one (1) option years at an estimated value of $100K per year.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, on its own behalf and as an agent for FHA, has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reasonthe goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:due to an absence of competition for technical reasons CHS is the sole distributor of Micro Preemie Electrodes from Medico Electrodes. There are no other suppliers in the market that offers micro preemie size, skin friendly hydrogel that wicks away moisture, latex-free, DEHP-free and the product comes with carbon wires, which are suitable for X-ray imaging and MRI tests.
Suppliers who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Azraa Mohammed, Procurement Buyer, PHSA Supply Chain by email to azraa.mohammed@phsa.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, July 29, 2025. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
