Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in MIRECC LAB_Rural Veteran Suicide Prevention Data Analysis. This requirement for is to support the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (554). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

Contractor shall provide MIRECC LAB_Rural Veteran Suicide Prevention Data Analysis

The Contractor shall identify existing community level data to integrate into a data evaluation and mapping program. Up to 100 publicly available datasets will be identified that include factors that can be related to physical health, mental health, socioeconomic status, access to care, or other areas.
a) Contractor shall provide a list of datasets including source, frequency of updates, date of last update, and fields in the database.
b) If two or more databases contain the same fields, the Contractor shall recommend a database/field that should be used.
c) Contractor shall note methodology used for finding databases and outline any process that might be needed for cleaning or adjusting database so multiple databases overlap. For example, if one database is at the census level and all others are at the county level, Contractor shall identify processes that will be used to combine datasets.
d) Expected product is a Microsoft Excel Workbook or Microsoft Access Database for all data sources. Methodology and processes should be outlined clearly in a Microsoft Word document. The government will provide one review before final datasets are decided.
