Elevate & Replace Electrical & Controls at City Lift Stations

Listing Information/Advertisement:

Bids are invited for the furnishing of materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace, with new, electrical and controls and to construct structural steel control structures and access platforms at five (5) of the City of Pass Christian’s sewage lift stations. The platforms will allow access to the elevated electrical and controls at the lift stations. The replacement controls, the main disconnect, manual transfer switch, SCADA controls and power meter base, etc.  will be required on a new structure intended to be elevated not less than 6’ above existing ground level, as provided for on the plans. The electrical service shall be extended from the existing pole to below ground to the respective structures where they will be mounted at the appropriate location and elevation. Adjacent to the elevated controls at each station will include a structural steel access platform (i.e., 9’L x 5’W) with stairs mounted on a concrete pad. Contractor shall coordinate the relocation of the existing power pole at each station with the local power company, if needed to erect the new structures. Existing electrical components removed from each site shall be delivered to the City’s Water Operator’s office located at 396 Clark Avenue, Pass Christian, MS.
