FY2026 Water Main Replacements Project. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of new 8-inch and 10-inch ductile iron water main, transfer and installation of water services, installation of fire hydrants, abandonment of existing water main, and all other appurtenant work in Elm Street and Chandler Street. The scope also includes water main tie-in connections and water service transfers to accommodate the abandonment of the 6inch cast iron water main in Lexington Street; the existing 10" water main will remain in service. Sealed bids for construction of FY20265 Water Main Replacements Project for the Town of
Belmont, Massachusetts, will be received at the Department of Public Works Office, 19 Moore Street, Belmont, MA 02478 until 11:00am, on Thursday, June 4 2026, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
