ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the Quinn’s Market Building Demolition Project will be received online via the PennBid Program by the City of Pittston Redevelopment Authority, until 11:00 a.m. local time on October 29 , 2025, at which time the bids will be opened electronically and shortly after which, bid tabulation results will be publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of Contract No. 1: Pre-Demolition Hazardous Materials Abatement and Contract No. 2: Building and Site Demolition, including Mobilization, Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control, Hazardous Materials Abatement., Building Demolition including removal of foundations and surface grading, and Site Stabilization with 4” of 2A Stone.
Bids will be received for two individual separate prime contracts. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference with walk through will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the project site: 401 Kennedy Blvd., Pittston, PA 18640.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates.
