2026 - Fire - Ambulance Operator Staffing Services NEW!

The City of Compton, hereinafter referred to as “CITY,” is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide ambulance operator (AO) employee staffing services at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), hereinafter referred to as “Proposer,” to manage the necessary staffing needs for emergency transportation services provided by the CITY, with the goal of maximizing revenue recovery while ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations. The awarded Proposer, hereinafter referred to as “Proposer/Contractor” depending on context, will provide the requested services in accordance with the scope of work. Prior to submitting a Proposal, Proposers are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including. The expected term for this engagement will be three (3) years with the option to renew in one (1) year increments. The total maximum number of years for this contract is ten (10) years, including the renewal option.
