Project Description: Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit: Granite School District
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to enter into a contract to provide: flag rotation and replacement services at one location for our district office located at 2500 S State Street Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 according to the specifications below.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Services include: Flags must be taken down, cleaned, repaired and/or replaced, and hung back up every other month during a 12-month period or at least (6) six times a year. There are (2) two United States nylon flags, (1) one Utah nylon flag, and (1) one Granite School District nylon flag. Vendor will inspect each pole and halyards with every rotation and notify the designated GSD staff member of any problems.
Replacement include: When a flag is no longer repairable, the vendor will notify the designated GSD staff member that the flag needs to be replaced. Vendor will retire the flag properly in accordance with the US Flag Code. GSD will be billed for the new flag at the contracted price. Vendor will obtain current logo and printing instructions from designated GSD staff member for Granite School District flag prior to printing and/or replacing flag.
Pricing quoted will be held for a one-year period. Following the guarantee period, any request for price adjustment must be for an equal guarantee period and must be made at least 30 days prior to the effective date. Requests for price adjustment, must include sufficient documentation supporting the request. Price may not exceed the increase listed in the prevailing Consumer Price Index (CPI) as listed on the Bureau of Labor Statistics web site (http://www.blsd.gov/data). Any adjustment or amendment to the contract will not be effective unless approved by GSD Purchasing. Granite School District will be given the immediate benefit of any decrease in the market, or allowable discount.
Vendor must be local to Utah.
