Runway 01 Obstruction Removal / Tree Cutting

Sealed bids will be received by Taylor County for Tree Cutting and Removal at Butler Municipal Airport at the Office of County Manager, Amanda Queen, 7 Ivy Street, Butler, Georgia 31006 on Thursday, March 26, 2026, until 10:00 AM Local Time. At that hour bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for: RUNWAY 01 OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL The location of the work is at the Butler Municipal Airport, Butler, Georgia. Copies of the plans, specifications, and bid forms may be on file at the following locations: the Taylor County/Amanda Queen, County Manager¿s Office, 7 Ivy Street, Butler, GA 31006; and the Engineer¿s office, Croy Engineering, LLC, 200 North Cobb Pkwy, Bldg. 400, Ste 413, Marietta, GA 30062. The bidding documents may be examined at these offices without charge. A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required for a hard copy of the plans and bid documents. Request an electronic copy of the plans and bid documents in pdf format via email to byoung@croyeng.com. There will be a one-time $50 charge for electronic bid packages. All Contractors must be on the plan holders list in order to be considered for work on the project. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, addressed to: Ms. Amanda Queen, County Manager, Taylor County, and marked as follows: "Bid for Construction at Butler Municipal Airport, Butler, GA. Croy Engineering Project 2307.001". Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after the date of opening of bids. THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS AND TO WAIVE INFORMALITIES IS RESERVED TO THE OWNER. A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 1:30 PM Local Time.
