Project Description: Jordan School District (JSD) is inviting qualified general contractors (Contractors) to submit bids for improvements and expansion of the parking lot at Bingham High School located in South Jordan, Utah. The awarded Contractor will be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications and requirements of the bid documents for the following Scope of Work.
In Area A (refer to Site Plan - Existing, Drawing Sheet A011 for Area A location), as part of Base Bid, remove concrete paved islands at the end of parking stalls, and construct more parking stalls as indicated. See demolition plans and new plans. Provide a new sidewalk with a retaining wall and safety fence as indicated.
In Area B, as part of Base Bid, construct the new West Parking Lot with sidewalks, xeriscaped areas, exterior light fixture with poles, and a new entrance from 2200 West Street. See demolition plans and new plans. Provide a separate construction cost as part of Add Alternate #3, for providing concrete pavement instead of asphalt pavement in the new west parking lot.
In Area C, as part of Add Alternate #1, construct the new South Parking Lot with sidewalks, xeriscaped areas, exterior light fixture with poles, and relocate existing monument sign with a new footing. Provide a separate construction cost as part of Add Alternate #2, for providing concrete pavement instead of asphalt pavement in the new south parking lot.
This ITB is issued in accordance with State of Utah Procurement Code, Utah Code Annotated (UCA) Chapter 63G-6a, and applicable Rules found in the Utah Administrative Rules (UAR). If any provision of this IFB conflicts with the UCA or UAR, the UCA or UAR will take precedence.
The Jordan School District Purchasing Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of JSD.
