Snow College is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) to establish a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor offering the lowest total cost for the installation of a Steel Carport.
Budget Notice:
The total budget allocated for this procurement is $14,000.00, which must include all associated costs, including but not limited to shipping, delivery, installation, and any applicable fees.
****Bids exceeding this amount will be disqualified from consideration.
Project Specifications:
Dimensions: 14' wide × 40' long × 12' high (side walls)
Enclosure: Fully enclosed top + both 40' sides (An example of carport available in the files section)
Material: Steel
Color: Navy blue metal siding
Anchoring Requirements:
Bidders must provide pricing for anchoring to both gravel and cement bases.
Please note: The cement pad or gravel base will be fully prepared and in place prior to installation.
The selected contractor will not be responsible for providing, preparing, or modifying the base surface.
Location: Ephraim, Utah
Snow Load Requirement: Minimum 60 PSF, compliant with Ephraim, Utah building codes
Installation and Travel:
Submitted quote must include all costs for installation and travel.
Contractor/Vendor shall provide proof of the general liability insurance policy and other required insurance policies to SNOW COLLEGE before work may start. Contractor must add SNOW COLLEGE as an additional insured.
Note: All submitted bid prices must be inclusive of all associated costs, including but not limited to shipping, handling, delivery, setup (if applicable), and any additional fees or surcharges. No additional charges will be accepted beyond the total bid amount.
Additional Notes:
- Equipment must be new.
- Delivery must be FOB Destination to the specified location in Utah. All shipping and handling costs must be included in the quoted price.
Warranty and Service
Vendors must specify the warranty coverage included with the product. Vendors are encouraged to provide details on any extended warranty options or service plans available.
Evaluation of Quotes: Each quote received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. This IFB shall be evaluated by the objective criteria described in this IFB. Quotes submitted must comply with the specification identified in this IFB.
Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, Snow College will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids.
Snow College Purchasing may solicit other quotes via email, phone, or other methods as permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
