The Ak-Chin Community Health Clinic is obligated to provide patients with medical services in a safe, non-toxic environment that should be both sanitary and healthy. The Ak-Chin Community Health Clinic does not have the capabilities or the facilities for the proper handling and disposal of bio-hazardous, chemotherapeutic wastes, and non-hazardous medication incineration boxes. Therefore, there is significant need for the proper handling and disposal of medical waste that is generated by the Ak-Chin Community Health Clinic.
