The Little Rock School District is requesting SEALED bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide ROOF REPLACEMENT at Metropolitan VoTech

MANDATORY
pre-bid meeting and walk-thru for this project will be held on, Tuesday, June 16,2026 at Metropolitan VoTech,
7701 Scott Hamilton Dr.
This meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. All potential bidders must attend this meeting to be eligible to submit a bid. Bid opening meeting will be held via Zoom on June 23,2026 @ 2:00 pm.
Prospective bidders are advised that roof access is not available via a roof hatch at the project site. Contractors intending to attend site visits and submit a bid should be aware that they will be responsible for providing their own extension ladder and any other necessary equipment required to safely access the roof for inspection and evaluation purposes.

The plan room is completely FREE to access and view Drawings and Specifications.
Obtaining contract documents through any source other than the Design Professional listed above or their representative(s) is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information. Contract documents obtained through the Design Professional or their representative(s) are considered the official version and take precedence should any discrepancies occur.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities in bids received. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award will be based upon those considerations, which are in the best interest of the District and will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective and economical for the purpose intended, according to the requirements and specifications stated in the Invitation for Bids.

. If the Contractor is unable to meet this deadline liquidated damages will be applied as specified herein.
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
Liquidated damages imposed against the contractor for failure to meet the final agreed upon completion date will be ONE THOUSAND dollars ($1000.00) for each calendar day beyond the final agreed upon completion date. The contractor shall be relieved of delays due to causes beyond his control such as Acts of God, national emergency, strikes, or fire. The contractor must notify the Procurement Department in writing, on a timely basis, of such developments stating reason, justification and extent of delay.
