APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS) supports the Fires Enterprise by integrating sensors, effectors, and fire control into a system-of-systems (SoS) that delivers offensive and defensive fires for the Joint Force.
The IFMC Project Office develops and sustains mission command and fire control capabilities across all Army Air and Missile Defense (AMD) echelons. IFMC closes key operational gaps such as the Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP), Integrated Fire Control (IFC), and critical asset defense while enabling adaptability against evolving threats.
The Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Program builds on this foundation by unifying all Army AMD components into a SoS, delivering operational capabilities not achievable by individual systems. IAMD strengthens homeland defense, protects forces and critical assets, and preserves freedom of action by countering adversary air and missile threats.
At the center of IAMD is the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS), the Army’s materiel solution that links current and future AMD sensors, effectors, and mission command nodes on a single common network. IBCS consists of Engagement Operations Center (EOC), Integrated Fire Control Network (IFCN) Relays, and integration kits to network-enable current and future AMD components (current IBCS MEIs are shown at the enclosure).
Initial IAMD fielding includes Sentinel A3 and PATRIOT system integration with future expansion to additional sensors and effectors.
See attachment for further instruction.
