Weirs Boulevard Bridge over Langley Brook, City of Laconia, NH

Bids for the fabrication of Weirs Boulevard Bridge over Langley Brook precast bridge and wingwalls
located in Laconia, NH will be received by the City of Laconia, at the Laconia City Hall, 45 Beacon Street E,
Laconia, NH 03246, until 2:00 PM local time on March 13, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be
publicly opened and read.
The Project consists of fabrication of a precast concrete box culvert with a clear span of 14’-0” and precast
wingwalls.
Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All technical questions regarding this
project should be directed by email to Josif Bicja at jbicja@hoyletanner.com.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc., 150 Dow Street, 5th
Floor, Manchester, NH 03101. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the City of
Laconia or at the office of Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc., Monday through Friday between the hours
9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office in electronic format (.pdf only) at no cost by
emailing Donna Akerley, dakerley@hoyletanner.com. The date that the Bidding Documents are
transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding
Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner
nor Issuing Office will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any,
obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractor shall have obtained one set of electronic from the
Issuing Office. The Bid will not be awarded to a Bidder unless a record for the request of at least one set of
electronic plans and specifications. To meet this requirement and to be added to the official list of plan
holders, a prospective Bidder must request electronic copies of plans and specifications using the name
that is to appear on record as the plan holder.
Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on March 27, 2026. All precast components shall be delivered
at the project site no later than September 28, 2026. Liquidated damages of $1,250 per day will commence
on September 28, 2026, for failure to deliver the precast components within the stipulated contract times.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer
to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished
in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
