IHS - Replacement RPMS server

The Indian Health Service, Jicarilla Service Unit, intends to award a sole source contract to ConvergeOne Inc replace an end-of-life (EOL) RPMS server currently supporting critical healthcare operations.

The award will be a single source procurement awarded to ConvergeOne Inc in accordance with RFO-FAR 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source is reasonably available based on support for specialized equipment and future migration services.

Only one source, ConvergeOne Inc, is capable of fulfilling the Government’s requirement to provide both ongoing IBM AIX Power platform Hardware configuration and RPMS data migration. The unique capabilities of ConvergeOne Inc, include its ability to support both AIX support and end-to-end migration services.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than ConvergeOne Inc may submit a capability statement via email to Carlton Taylor, at carlton.taylor@hhs.gov by 12:00 PM EDT on Friday July 31, 2026.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
