Description

THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE. THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is received.



The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to negotiate and award a new Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 for a quantity of 33 Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) A-Kits in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the contractor, Boeing has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to The Boeing Company, 6200 James S McDonnell Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63134-1939. It is anticipated that the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract will be issued. A planned delivery schedule of 31 Mar 2028 – 31 Jul 2029 is contemplated.



This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail that clearly demonstrates the capability to produce the required products no later than 4:00 PM (EST) August 28, 2025 to kyle.p.ellis.mil@us.navy.mil and to blake.a.strickland.civ@us.navy.mil. Responsible sources shall submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten (10) 8.5x11 inch pages, font no smaller than 12 point, 1.5 spaced) demonstrating their ability to provide the supplies listed in the required capabilities described herein. Documentation should be in bullet format. All responses shall include Company Name, Company Address, Company Business Size, and Points-of-Contact (POC) including name, phone number, fax number and email address.



The documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: the type of work your company has performed in the past 3 years in support of same/similar requirement(s), Cage Code, UEI number, and DUNN's number. Include information such as contract number, organization supported, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract reference relates to the required capabilities described herein.
